Where a little goes a long way!
Why did we start this?
We started the Blessing Box program because we know what it’s like to struggle we’ve been there ourselves. As parents of four kids, life hasn’t always been easy, and truthfully, we still face challenges like so many others. But when we opened Coffee with a Thrift, we didn’t just want to build a business we wanted to build a place where people could feel seen, supported, and connected.
This isn’t just a thrift store, and it’s not just a place to grab a cup of coffee. It’s a community. A place where folks who need a hand can find one, and where anyone who wants to make a difference can step up and help.
The Blessing Box program was Kelly’s idea a simple but powerful way to give back. Each box is built with love and intention, based on real stories and real needs. Sometimes it’s baby items for a new mom. Sometimes it’s warm clothes, food, or hygiene products for someone down on their luck. And sometimes, it’s just stepping in to cover gas or groceries when someone needs it most.
This program is our way of saying: You’re not alone. We see you. And we care.
It’s not about charity. It’s about community.
What is in a box?
Each Blessing Box is unique just like the person receiving it. It could include clothing, hygiene products, toys, food, baby items, or anything else someone might need. Every box is created based on nominations we receive, where people share stories about someone going through a tough time and how we can help.
Sometimes, it’s not even a box it’s simply helping someone get groceries, gas, or covering a basic need. Struggles look different for everyone, and we want to be there to help however we can lifting people up and helping them move forward, no matter what life throws their way.
Where Do they go?
Every Blessing Box is unique and packed with purpose.
Each one goes to someone in need—from a little boy or girl who needs clothes, to a mother in need of baby supplies, or even a man going through a tough time who could use a hand. We do our very best to help them all.
